Here's little pic I did for a friend I work with who recently bought one of those thermos/mug type things that allows you to create a custom design for the mug. She asked if I would draw something for it and said I could do whatever I wanted so I put this image together. She's a comic book fan and with the 50th anniversary of Spidey this year I figured Spider-Man was in order. I wanted to play with the idea of him sticking to glass, it sort of works but for a quickie pic I think it turned out all right.
Drawn on marker paper, colored in Photoshop, background is just a pic grabbed off the net and editied in Photoshop.

Overall Vision
Originality Technique ImpactThis piece just popped out at me and got a hold of my curiosity. Not only is it nicely detailed and evenly proportioned, it is just as equally entertaining to look at!
The anatomy, in my opinion, is perfect! And the detail of the buildings behind our dear friend Spidey are phenomenonly detailed!
The shading and lighting are simpley breathtaking and the textures within this picture add a nice touch like the toppings on a cake.
I found it unique and entertaining how you have our friendly neighbourhood Spiderman peeking through a window at his viewers. Though he wears a mask, you can still recognize his curiosity as he hangs upsidedown on the side of the building.
I believe I have no critisizms for this piece. Kudos to you. Kudos!
