Boba Fett vs Grizzly Bear

“What is this?” You may be asking yourself. Well, during a recent late night of hanging out with some friends of mine including we were discussing the mind sets of ‘artists’ and ‘illustrators’. We being ‘illustrators’ generally do stuff that sets out to be cool and or entertaining to view, where as ‘artists’ do some abstract or some other less technical looking image that require us to look and feel the emotion of some other wise art nonsense. So during this little powwow said something like “When I look at a picture I don’t want to think about how some triangles and finger painting makes me feel, I wanna see something cool like Boba Fett wrestling a grizzly bear!” That remark had us laughing for a bit. Then there was a quick “Someone should draw that.” So I took up the challenge and came up with this. It was pretty fun to do because let’s face it; this isn’t the normal Fett fair. As for the tools used, it was drawn and inked on marker paper, background in Daz3D, colored and other effects done in Photoshop CS4.
